From AI prototype to real product

Your Lovable, Bolt or Cursor prototype works. Let’s make it a real product.

AI tools got you to a convincing demo. Real customers need more: isolated data, reliable payments, tests and hosting that holds. I pick up your prototype where the tool stops.

What breaks when real users show up

One customer’s data visible to another

The database access rules (Supabase “RLS”) are missing or too broad. It’s the most common issue, and the most serious.

Exposed API keys

A key readable in the browser lets anyone spend on your OpenAI, Anthropic or Stripe account.

Payments that don’t follow through

Subscription paid but access still locked, cancellations ignored, Stripe notifications not verified.

No tests

Every change you ask the AI for can break another part of the app without anyone noticing.

Invisible on Google

A single-page app, heavy on mobile, that search engines barely read.

No safety net

No verified backups, no error tracking, no alerts: you hear about outages from your customers.

You don’t necessarily start from scratch

Depending on the code, three outcomes. The audit tells you which one, before any commitment.

Harden

The code is sound. We lock down data access, add tests and deploy properly. You keep your codebase.

Migrate

The foundation is good, the tool holds you back. We move the code to a standard stack you own and any developer can pick up.

Rebuild

The prototype did its job: validating the idea. We keep the flows your users like and rebuild the foundations.

How it works

  1. 1. Audit

I read your code and database. You get the list of risks, ranked by severity.

  2. 2. Takeover plan

Harden, migrate or rebuild: a reasoned choice, split into milestones and priced.

  3. 3. Takeover in milestones

Critical flaws first, then the rest. You see every milestone live.

  4. 4. Production and follow-up

Monitored launch, backups, alerts. Then I stay on as backup or hand over.

Why me

  • I build my own SaaS products on the same family of tools as Lovable and Bolt (React, Supabase, Stripe): I know where they break.
  • I code with AI every day. I won’t tell you to drop your tools; I’ll tell you where they stop.
  • 15 years of development, up to lead and architect. One person, from diagnosis to launch.

Frequently asked questions

Does my Lovable app need a full rewrite?

Rarely all of it. Depending on the code, we harden it, migrate it to a standard stack or rebuild only the foundations. The audit decides before any commitment.

Can I keep using Lovable or Cursor?

Yes, for prototyping new ideas. Once the product is in production, changes go through a versioned repository and tests, so AI no longer breaks what works.

My prototype is built with Bubble or another no-code tool. Does this apply?

Yes. You can’t take the code out of a no-code tool, but you keep what matters most: the flows your users validated and your data. The rebuild starts from there.

How much does the takeover cost?

It depends on what the audit finds. The takeover is quoted at a fixed price, per milestone. The audit is quoted too, and credited to the takeover if you continue with me.

Who keeps the code?

You do. The code lives in your repository and the accounts (hosting, database, payments) are in your name.
